To put into perspective how lively the social media scene is, Forbes did a study and the results showed that one in five people don’t feel the need to use search engines, as they can access websites through social media. Not only does social media help showcase your brand to your consumers but it also allows you to reach potential buyers globally.
How to use Social Media
When using social media marketing for business purposes, the key is to raise awareness. Let the world know you exist and why you are relevant to them. Your social media voice is how you want your brand to be heard. Some companies go for more of a light, casual, and funny tone on their socials while others may choose to stay more formal and business-like. It all depends on the audience you want to reach and the message you want to relay to them.

Do - Post often. When it comes to social media, it's important to create consistency. Whether it's posting multiple times a day, or even one time a day on a schedule; just be sure to be active.
Do - Engage with your audience. Your brand should be accessible to your consumers or potential consumers to get social media's full effect. That happens by responding to direct messages, and comments, or going live on your brand's social page and letting your audience know that they’re being heard.
Do - Stay consistent. Be consistent in the voice you want your brand to have. Everything from the type of post you make to the content you might share from another page. If it has your name on it, you want it to sound like you.

Don’t - Use social media strictly to sell your products. While it is important to market your products and services you don't want to seem like you only after their money.
Don’t - Ignore trends. It’s easy to pass off TikTok dances, or new slang being used as just fads. Instead, take full advantage of what’s trendy and include it in your brand's content.
Don’t - Rely too heavily on automation and artificial intelligence. With AI becoming more accessible for more industries, it makes it hard not to overdo it. Be sure the content you post comes off like an authentic brand. Like a real human is making the post and not AI.
